The phrase desert island is used a lot in the Seychelles, and while many resorts lay claim to the term, only Denis Island can truly claim to be such a place. You won’t find 10 different restaurants here, nor countless swimming pools or crowded beaches. Instead Denis Island offers the luxury and tranquillity one can only find on a small private island.

Accommodation is offered across five different villa types, all offering the epitome of island luxury.

Beach Cottages offer a sea facing veranda, private sea front, private courtyard and an open air bathroom.


Deluxe Beach Cottages offer all of the facilities of Beach Cottages but with the added luxury of an extended sea facing deck equipped with a sala and a day bed, there’s also a private garden courtyard.

Beach Front Spa Cottages provide a private beachfront with sun loungers and chairs, private courtyard, in room wellness pavilion, extended sea facing private deck with a sala and a daybed.

Family Villas are equipped with two bedrooms, a wide beachfront area and a large sea facing deck with seating and dining area. You’ll also enjoy the open air bathroom within your private courtyard.

The Luxury Beach Villa is the largest of all the Villas on Denis Island. It features a plunge pool, separate lounge and dining area, a massage and wellness zone, barbeque and a sala. ¬†There’s also an extensive outdoor living space complete with private courtyard and two showers.

Dining at Denis Island isn’t like dining in a traditional resort or hotel; instead Denis Island offers live cooking stations with locally sourced ingredients as well as Barbeques and Creole nights on the beach. There’s also the option of luxurious five course table d’hote dinners which can be served in the main dining room or around the pool.

If you would prefer total privacy when you dine then you?ll enjoy in villa dining, or perhaps a meal under the stars on the white sand beach.

Island activities include nature walks, canoeing and snorkelling. Diving is also provided under the watchful eye of the islands PADI certified dive centre, enjoy sightings of numerous marine life ? you may even spot a Dolphin or two!

Day trips to neighbouring islands can also be arranged by the friendly hotel staff.

The resort’s spa facilities are bought to your room with courtyard massages and treatments inspired by the island and using only locally sourced, natural ingredients.
